Northeast Fresno: the city's growing family side
Northeast Fresno is where Fresno's newer homes, best-known parks, and fast-growing family neighborhoods come together. Planned communities, tree-lined parks, and easy freeway access make it the first stop for many of our move-up buyers.
The overview ★ Character and lifestyle
Fresno's newest, most family-focused neighborhoods
Northeast Fresno grew into the city's most prominent residential corridor, and it shows: wide, clean streets, two-story family homes, and neighborhood parks on nearly every corner. The area's anchor is Woodward Park, Fresno's largest park, with its Japanese garden, miles of trails, and room for every sport you can name. On weekends it feels like the whole city shows up to walk, run, and picnic.
Lifestyle here is built around parks, shopping, and schools. The corridors along Herndon and Blackstone hold some of the valley's best shopping and dining, Highway 41 makes the airport and the rest of the region easy to reach, and portions of the area feed into the Clovis Unified district, which is a major reason families choose this side of town.
Homes range from well-priced family houses in established subdivisions to custom estate properties in gated golf communities. Buyers typically find the newest construction and the most amenities per dollar in the Fresno area right here.
