Clovis: balloons at dawn and Friday nights on Pollasky
The big one is ClovisFest and the Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly, Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, at the Clovis Rodeo grounds and Old Town Clovis. Presented by Valley Children's Healthcare, it brings live entertainment, agricultural exhibits, and a full carnival, plus country star Clay Walker performing live at the fairgrounds on Saturday, September 12.
The month keeps rolling with the Fall Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, September 19, a free and friendly outing for young anglers, and the Old Timers' Day Parade on Saturday, September 26, a Madera tradition that has been rolling down the main drag for generations. Kerman: harvest time in a small town
Kerman's signature event is the Kerman Harvest Festival, Thursday through Sunday, September 17 to 20, on West G Street, one of the area's biggest community festivals with 8,000+ expected attendees. Expect local food, vendors, and family fun that reflect the town's deep agricultural roots.
Earlier in the month, Art in the Park lands on Saturday, September 7, and Kerman Parks & Recreation keeps the community moving all month with weekly classes like Zumba, Tai Chi, and Strong by Zumba. Small-town life at its best means you can fill a whole weekend without leaving the county line.
